Central Oregon is truly one of my favorite spots, as a child I use to come over to visit my grandparents in Prineville, such great memories. There is a very distinct herbal smell of the Juniper tree that greets you once you gotten over the pass. Its always interesting how smells and music can take you back immediately to the first time you smelled something or heard a song, it never gets old. Back to our favorite RV park Expo Center in Redmond OR, then off to Smith Rock State Park for hike. Its very warm today so I’m glad I have my super shade hat on from Seirus a company I used to represent. Our hike took us right up to lunch time so in to Redmond for a refreshing healthy juice at Just Cut, it was our first time in, the owners Clint and his wife greeted us. What really makes this place unique is it adjoins a fitness gym where Clint is a coach. The drinks we ordered were fantastic, all fresh ingredients, we highly recommend this place. We head back to Bend to see what has changed, the town is just as bustling as ever. We made plans this evening to meet our friends in Tumalo at a place called the The Bite, its a brewery with a number of food trucks. One of our favorite restaurants in town is a Thai place called Noi, they have a food truck at The Bite. Its hard for me to order something else other than their crispy garlic chicken with basil, Angela had a shrimp dish with vegetables, it was fantastic food. At the bottom of this page there is a Tiny Home with a twist, its built on a fifth wheel design, meaning it attaches to the inside of your truck bed, i think its very smart. This company is based in Portland and from what I can see a great company with many designs to choose from.
