My Alaska trip with my buddies Jay his son Weston, Ken and Jamie is about to begin, my departure city is Portland OR, so I came up early to spend the night because I’m leaving at 6:00 am tomorrow. We stop in Oregon City just outside Portland and find this interesting place for lunch inside the The Hive Brewery, a neighborhood watering hole. Chef Melissa Downs owner of Perky Pantry has brought her food truck inside this local brewery so the patrons of The Hive can enjoy her delicious food. When the garage doors roll up it brings the outside in and today is no exception, it is sunny and warm. This clever idea and great menu are a hit, we find some good choices to enjoy, guess who is having the Philly cheesesteak.
