It’s a beautiful sunny day and gazing across the Willamette River was a good way to start. I received a call from my urologist this morning asking to do another urine test, it concerned me that they wanted one and they must had forgotten we are on the road for our travel adventure. We coordinated a place nearby in Oregon City and we would go there after I went to Home Depot to replace the broken closet bar made of very flimsy material. All our clothes in a pile in the closet, you would think RV’s are going to hit bumps and clothes are going to go up and come down, at any rate I went Home Depot purchased a steel pipe, had them cut it to size and then put it in place to make it almost indestructible. We get to Quest Lab Corp inside a Safeway store Oregon City for my Fish Test, no it has nothing to do with fishing although I wish it did, its a more comprehensive test to see if possible, cancer cells are still floating around my bladder. I go inside to the lab and introduce myself to the technician who is friendly and starts on the paper work, once most of the blanks are filled she realizes this a test they do not have the proper agents to preserve the urine for its journey to the lab, we get it figured out but it will be Monday or farther down the road to get it done. I was pleased my doctor is being thorough but wished this would have been done earlier in Bend. We head back to Davy Rockets in hopes the Mini Cooper is done and get the RV tow bar put on to find they are not done and yet, we are not happy but at this point they need to finish so it becomes a Saturday project. Back to Clackemette but with a stop over to see my brother Dan who lives in Oregon City as well, he has not seen our RV and is excited to do so but sad his young brother will be gone for a while. We say our goodbyes and then return to the Clackamette RV Park for another stay on the river. Before we head back a stop at Burgerville in Oregon City for dinner.
