Natchez Trace 3-4-2019
We know our trip north could be full of bad weather and we are doing our best to avoid those places, our plan is to make it to Natchez Trace RV Campground for our next stay. We cross over another pass with light snow showers and icicles forming on the rock walls as we head down towards Chattanooga TN. The rain has stopped but still gloomy as we pass by Chattanooga. Wish we could spend some time here has it has a great reputation. Natchez Trace has significant history and as we have found much different than the school text books say. It is clearing up and we are greeted with the warmth of the sun, the Natchez Trace Parkway is a beautiful road that meanders 444 miles through the hills of many states as the original path did back in the 1700’s, this pathway thru many states was one that Native Americans, Traders and Civilians took to get from place to place. We settle in at the Natchez Trace RV Campground to skillet chicken on greens.
