Peru IN 3-12-2019

We are getting closer to the Forest River/Coachmen factory in Middlebury IN, we have been fortunate in planning the route to miss MT passes and winter weather. Our destination today is to Peru IN which will put us less than 100 miles from the factory. We travel through the town of Terre Haute IN and grab a bite at Panda Express, who are consistently good. We always enjoy driving through these small towns and admiring the architecture. Angela is the co-pilot/navigator and she finds us an RV park in Peru, it’s definitely in the country and at first glance a little sketchy. As we come to find out this older couple who owns this RV park called Honey Bear Hollow have another business, disk golf and people from miles around come there to play. The office/disk golf store has thousands of disks for sale and while we were there a number of customers show up to play. We get escorted to the site and can see that a number of the trailers are run down and not even occupied. Its late in the day so we settle in for the night hoping to get an early start tomorrow.
