Boondocking Walmart Bend 10-8-2018

Because of our hot water heater failure in our RV I wanted to be first inline at Big Country RV this morning, the RV is my only transportation and with plenty to do today I was hoping they would give me a rental. I was first into the service department and Andy (service manager) who has been handling all our problems was there to greet me. I could tell he kind of winced a little when he ask me what could he do for me, I explained my situation of a full day of errands plus a medical procedure this afternoon, he quickly and efficiently pulled out a rental agreement which I signed and was met in the front of the building with a car, I was thankful and started my day. Got all my errands done plus a successful Cysto in the afternoon with the best news coming from the Doc that I was all clear in my bladder, Dr. Ashley said see you in 6 months for a maintenance program of 3 BCGs and another Cysto. Andy called and the RV was fixed another control panel failure so the hot water was working again. Thought I would try out the Walmart in Bend for my next (Boondock) overnight stay, parked at the far end with our slide outs over the a grassy area, saw a number of other travelers so felt at home, knew I would not be getting that disturbing knock on the door that I have heard before. I was hearing traffic from the road which has become familiar with boondocking but did not let that interfere with sleep.
