Clermont Fl 2-5-2019

Today we go into to the city of Clermont FL to see the downtown area for a visit. Clermont FL is named in the top 20 cities to live in in America and also known as the “Choice of Champions” because of its international reputation as being an ideal training ground for elite athletes. We arrive downtown and strolled through Waterfront Park which is on Lake Minneola. We see this interesting building with a sign that says Energy Lab Café, Angela can smell the coffee so no stopping her now, once inside we could see the thoughtful design and healthy menu which made for an inviting atmosphere. The opening in their south facing wall leads to their sister store Epic Bike, at first glance we could see the same interior design carried through here is well. As you know I have experience at retail and always have a critical eye on merchandise and merchandizing. This store was cool, not only well merchandised but laid out to make the customer interested in all the areas of the store. The website does not do a good job of portraying the effort they have done in the store, their Face Book does a better job. I’m always attracted to the footwear and this case they had a brand called ON that I was not familiar with, they were developed in the Swiss Alps and have become very popular. We walk by a Real Estate office and always window shop the listings, pricing here is really good, if it wasn’t so far away from our family it would be a consideration. We head back to the Rv Park for a home made Pizza, Oh Boy.
