Fort Walton Beach FL 11-25-2018

Todays expedition is to Fort Walton Beach FL to meet Doctor Fossum my new Urologist and explore the city. Fort Walton Beach is definitely a military town with multiple bases for the Navy and Air Force, the traffic on Hwy 98 is extremely busy and there are many accidents every day, they actually call it bloody 98. After my meeting at Dr Fossum office to make sure my up coming appointment is set and the paper work in place we head to down town Fort Walton Beach. Its raining today and we seek shelter in this interesting building called De France Flea Market. Did you know that the term Flea Market originated in France where second hand goods were sold that might contain fleas, yikes. The building was full of individual little shops full of garage sale items and some new home décor and hand made items.  There were at least a hundred spaces all very individual and unique, it was fascinating. Because the time of the season we were needing a few Christmas items and I found a brand new set of led lights to put in our window and Angela found an ornament to hang. They also had front and center a glass case of home made fudge that we could not resist. Out side we found these angel wings that fit my Angel perfectly. As you can see the fudge came in handy to put on top the ice cream.
