Joseph OR 9-2-2020
This morning is bright and sunny, our plan is to go to the Wallowa Lake and explore some more. The State Park is at the south end of the lake, it is beautifully maintained. It has 121 full hook ups, 88 tent sites, yurts, showers and group tents are available. There is a marina near by with all kinds of water sports, hiking trails and a tram for breathtaking views. The town of Joseph is less than 15 minutes away for convenience. Wallowa River had spawning Kokanee, note the red fish picture below and an interesting sun bleached tree hanging over the river. Back to the town of Joseph for some lunch and a repeat visit to Embers Brewhouse where we choose gourmet pizza for lunch, it was delicious. We headed back to the RV and get one more cast into the the Wallowa River before bed.
