Joshua Tree 2-20-2020
We are up early so we can get back into the Joshua Tree National Park, we are spending another night here at Joshua Tree Lake RV so we can have the whole day in the park, the Park is straight up the hill from the city of Joshua Tree. The entrance to the park is usually backed up but with our Senior Pass we can easily drive in. The park is very large and has many camping areas with hiking trails everywhere. It is very busy with tourists from all over the country and even a few from foreign countries, everyone taking advantage of trails and rock climbing. The weather is pleasantly warm, shorts and t-shirts are appropriate garb. There are many mountain tops with a paved road, we drive to one called Keys View which allows views of mesas, mountains & Coachella Valley. Each designated trail head is well maintained and has limited parking, you can park on the road where there is room. I’m going to apologize ahead of time for a few of the pictures below being fuzzy, my phone got run over by a truck after we returned home from this trip and so a few of the them are pictures of pictures. Did I mention backing up your phone is always a good idea.
