Kansas City MO 3-22-2019

We are in a rush to get to Kansas City MO today as it is Friday and I need to get to the Kansas City 1st World War Museum before it closes to meet with Jonathan R. Casey, Director, Archives. If we do not make it will not have a chance to discuss the pictures and diary that my grandfather was so good to pass down to us. We do get there in just the nick of time and get to sit down with Jonathan, he is glad to see us and get the material. We take some time to look around the outside of this great memorial. After our meeting it closing time for the museum and we head to Campus RV Park In Independence MO, a short drive away. Our plan is to come back to the museum tomorrow and do the tour as well as see downtown. The RV park is adjoining a religious campus of churches. It’s nothing special but clean enough for two nights at $30.00 a night.
