Lake Mead NV, 3-7-2020

Back on the road and looking forward to our next stop at Lake Mead NV, they have a great national park there called Las Vegas Bay Campground. It is dry camping, no hook ups but, they do have restrooms and water. I pull out our solar panels and plug them, there is still enough light to charge our batteries to full. We get there in the late afternoon and it is first come first serve, we actually had a choice of spaces because we got there earlier than most. The grounds are very clean, we are up on a bluff with a small canyon and creek flowing into the lake. The temperature is a very pleasant 75 degrees and after we set up we take a walk around the camp. People are from all over the country but mostly California from tents to big rigs. We are always nervous about our slide out not working as they labor to go out, sure hope they do not get stuck out like they have before.
