I have been in contact with Jason Johnson at Coachmen probably once a week since we took off, we have had many problems and we were told we would with a new model, the factory are pushing them out the door too quickly with very little quality control, little did we know the problems would be this extensive. I’m not defending Coachmen but almost everyone we spoke to said they all had problems whether it was a $25,000 trailer or $700,000 class A coach. The list below is the status as of January 2019. We are planning to leave hear by the 23rd of January and start our way north to Elkhart Indiana the birth place of our RV and the factory that will hopefully get all these things done, our biggest concern was the cabinets as it takes a specialist to take them out and put back in, they had a problem with the finish (not just ours) after they paint the coach they put them in a drying booth and the temperature gets really hot and that is where the cabinet finish bubbled. So, we will be traveling north in the middle of winter to arrive March 7th. It’s our plan to somewhat take our time and see some of the places we wanted to see along the way. Planning a trip usually starts at the end and then work your way to the current place and time. The reason we have to be there on a certain date is like all other RV service centers they book their work out sometimes months in advance. If you don’t get there on time you miss the slot and have to wait sometimes weeks. Booking RV spots can be tricky and Angela does a great job in sorting out the best places to go at a reasonable price or if they take one our discount partners, I will talk more about all the travel discount plans in more detail later. Problems with RV

1. The seats did not swivel, Fixed.

2. The faucet did not pull out, Fixed.

3. The cabinets were not finished properly, we will travel back to factory in Spring 2019 for replacement,

spoke to Jason Johnson and arranged date. Not Fixed

4. Dent in refrigerator, reported to Andy, will get replaced at factory. Not Fixed

5. Refrigerator handle breaks, reported to Andy. Fixed

6. Main slide motor # 1 not working, Andy replaced control board. Fixed

7. Water Heater stops, control panel replaced by Andy, Fixed

8. Awning on main slide-out broken, repaired by RV Oregon Portland, Fixed.

9. Refrigerator Stops, reviewed by Ed at Lauralhurst Portland, confirms it has failed. Fixed

at Ron Houston’s, TX, took 3 weeks in shop. Fixed

10. Awning breaks again, repaired by Barry’s RV outlet Bakersfield. Fixed

12. Mattress splitting, will repair at factory. Not Fixed

13. Number 2 burner on stove malfunctioning. Fixed Ron Houston’s, TX. Fixed

14. Mattress Stopper at bottom of bed frame fell off. Will fix at factory. Not Fixed

15. Bed Slider slanted down making mattress uncomfortable. Not Fixed

16. Outside Shower has leaking lines. Fixed at Ron Houston’s, TX. Fixed

17. Windshield wiper passenger side stopped working today, I will take to Chevy tomorrow.

I ended up Fixing it

18. Black water tank flush system no water to tank. Will fix at factory. Not Fixed

19. Refrigerator works on LP only, incorrect fuse (15 amp) should be 5amp fixed by mobile repair. Fixed

20. Bathroom fan switch breaks, repaired by Ron Houston. Fixed

21. Kitchen sink leaking, drain and pipes redone. I Fixed

22. Bathroom faucet leak, no silicone around faucet. I Fixed

23. Finish on slider to bedroom finish peeling. Not Fixed

24. Door to bathroom finish peeling. Not Fixed

25. Closet bar bends and breaks, I replaced with steel pipe. I Fixed

26. Kitchen sink caulking came out; I re-did with silicone. I Fixed

27. Water inlet leaking. Not Fixed

28. Drawers under closet not aligned. Not Fixed
