Palm Spring 4-7-2019

Today we are headed to the hills in south Palm Springs to do a hike. The Indian Canyons is owned and operated by the Agua Caliente Natives. Its clear today and already getting hot, we travel up the private road to the check in and pay the admission of $9.00 for adult (2019) $7.00 for seniors. The scenery gets more dramatic the farther in to the canyon we go, the rock walls almost don’t look real. We get to the trading post where the trails begin that take you through the palm canyon. The stream running down the canyon allows these huge palms to survive and gave the natives a place to live many years ago. We brought water but in this heat its never enough, the trading post has plenty of cold water thank goodness. There are a number of different hikes and on the way out of the Palm Canyon we stopped at Andreas Canyon another great hike. It was a good thing we were driving the Mini Cooper so we could squeeze thru the rocks. We were ready for some lunch and found this health food store called Natures Health Food in Palm Springs, the food was excellent and of course healthy.
