Waco TX 11-12-2018

So while still waiting for our RV to be fixed we ventured off to Waco TX 188 miles from Missouri City TX to get our Magnolia fix along with thousands of other people. Most people know Chip and Joanna Gaines of TV show fixer upper fame well not only has their show done well but they have created a huge enterprise in Waco TX, it is a incredible retail outlet branding themselves with all the home products you can imagine plus throw in some delectable eating at their bakery and food trucks onsite.

I have been at retail and wholesale most of my life and seen a lot of well-done stores that found a niche, this one is beyond belief. They have found a following that is not only willing to buy what they have but pay way more than a person should for their stylized items, needless to say they were swamped. We rubbed elbows with the masses and then went to their bakery for a bite, the line was longer than we wanted so we went across the street to a restaurant – bar called the Backyard Stage & Grill, I bet you thought you could not screw up BBQ, we found a place that could. Most of the time we find places to recommend and this is no different except we recommend you to stay away!
